The sun is peaking out of the clouds here on Mackinac Island and Grand Hotel is shining as it prepares for a new season. Word is that the travel business in Michigan will be up 3-4 percent and that is good news for everyone.

Sault Ste Marie

Sault Ste Marie is celebrating 155 years of being in the cargo transportation business. The Soo Locks Park is beautiful and it’s fun to watch the giant ships go through the Locks. If you come here on the first Friday in June you will be able to get up close to the Soo Locks.

Paul W’s Pure Michigan Tour

Our tour started in Monroe at the Community College and then it was off to Grand Rapids and the J.W. Marriott. This is a beautiful hotel with great food and nice view of the Grand River. The Dean Trailways Bus takes us to Sault Ste Marie this afternoon. Stay tuned.
